Derwent London has planning permission for a 275,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme at Tottenham Court Road station. This includes 204,000 sq ft of offices, 37,000 sq ft of retail, a theatre and new public realm. With the 2018 arrival of Crossrail, this major new transport interchange is providing a much needed regeneration boost to the area. In 2015, Derwent London signed an agreement with Crossrail to re-acquire the site on a new 150-year lease upon completion of the station works in late 2017. The scheme is due to complete in 2020.
