35 Chancery Lane is a 1990s purpose built, commercial office building, the proposed refurbishment aims to update the external appearance through recladding the west end of the building onto ChanceryLane and the north facade onto the recently landscaped Cursitor Street. ‘Punched’ windows to the lower floors with clear glazing will replace the dark bronze tinted windows. Cursitor Street to take advantage of the open space on the recently pedestrianised route. This will allow a greater retail frontage on Chancery Lane, creating a more viable size of unit.
