The scheme incorporates Grade II Listed walls, a remnant of the previous ecclesiastical buildings abutting the adjacent park. This has been sensitively incorporated to form two of the enclosing walls of a courtyard in the new development. The contrast between the listed and contemporary elements sets up a dynamic dialogue to the resulting courtyard space. Set in the heart of a Shoreditch conservation area, and abutting listed buildings, this mixed-use development of office, retail and residential over five stories re-establishes the historic plan of this important junction.
