There are 88 apartments in a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom units. The hotel includes a business centre and recreation centre; the latter space is specifically aimed at families. A ground floor café will offer 24-hour room service, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner; it will also be open to the general public. The stepped form, repeated in the section, maximises daylight and sunlight within the site’s deep plan, and also allows for diagonal views up and down Uxbridge Road from the apartments. Extensive landscaping will enhance the hotel’s setting.
