Planning application submitted for the redevelopment of the site with the erection of two towers (52 storeys.160.2m AOD to top of the facade and 40 storeys/127.2m to top of the facade), comprising:

• 439 residential units.

• 356 private residential units.

• 83 social residential units.

• 488 gross sq m offices (390net sq m).

• 168 bedroom hotel.

• 554 sq m retail.

The application site measures 0.28 ha and comprises the majority of the block bounded by Manilla Street to the south, Cuba Street to the north and east and Tobago Street to the west. It is occupied by four Victorian terraced cottages (three derelict one occupied), and a 2-storey former engineering workshop of approximately 1,188 sq.m partially vacated.

The two towers - the second of which would be 40 storeys - would include around 400 homes, a five-star hotel and office space.
