East Wick is one of the five new neighbourhoods framing the parklands of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It will comprise up to 870 homes, 5,300m² of employment space, 4,700 m² of retail space, a new primary school and two nurseries. Bordering the Lee Navigation canal and Hackney Wick Fish Island, the development will draw on the energy and urban morphology of this creative and cultural hub. It will also include a range of housing typologies – from family homes to one bedroom apartments – and a mix of tenures, including private sale, private rent and affordable housing.
