Many of the themes running through the practice’s work are embodied in the studio at 85 Southwark Street. The rendered rear elevation steps in response to rights of light constraints, while the fully-glazed front maximises north light and reveals the exposed concrete frame and moveable yellow fins that control glare internally.
Farnham Place is designed as an extension to the Southwark Street studios and involved the refurbishment of a Grade II listed Victorian warehouse and the construction of a new extension at the rear.
