Floral Court
- Developer / Owner: Capital and Counties Properties
- Consultant: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates
Floral Court is a mixed-use development in a conservation area, set around a newly-created courtyard and pedestrian route. The project enhances the best features of multiple listed buildings – including striking period interiors – and replaces a 1980’s office block with a high-specification, contemporary retail and residential building, adding a new layer to the historic fabric of the area. The hidden courtyard, surrounded by restaurants, improves north-south permeability and reduces pedestrian congestion. A feature corner completes the long view down Floral Street.
