Lewisham Gateway Masterplan

The Lewisham Gateway project will deliver £250 million of public and private investment, creating new job opportunities, homes and leisure facilities. The scheme will better integrate the railway station and town centre by realigning the existing highways and bringing an infill development of 93,000 sqm of mixed-used development. Shops, restaurants, leisure facilities and up to 800 new homes will be created, as well as a new urban park and town square. The project is supported by a public sector partnership between the Greater London Authority and the London Borough of Lewisham, Transport for London and Lewisham Gateway Developments Ltd. The outline planning for the scheme has been secured and the first phase is due for completion in April 2015. Exploratory works have begun with initial phase of residential development to begin on what is Lewisham bus station.
