Built on a vacant site at the end of a Victorian terrace, Number 23 is 30 per cent larger than its neighbours on a 20 per cent smaller site, with 159 sqm of naturally lit accommodation including a full site basement. The brief was to create a sustainably designed family home that is enjoyable, easy and economical to live in but that is still full of character and quirks that reflect the personality of the family while exemplifying the benefits of imaginative and intelligent architecture.
